New public update!

For those of you still following the blog, the previously Patron-exclusive update has finally made its way to the public tonight! Here's v.02 for your playing pleasure.

Controls are as follows:

-Arrow keys to move and struggle while being raped (warning: struggling during rape injures you! Once Alicia's health drops down to 0, she can no longer struggle and your only option is restarting.)
-Z to jump
-X to shoot
-C to use diagonal aiming
-F4 for fullscreen
-R to restart
-Escape to quit

I'm working with a background artist named Dace now. He's a pretty cool guy, and I have high hopes for the art of Crisis Point in the next few months. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the update.

    1. lol.. There's more than one area now, dude. Try walking off the side of the screen. You have to actually FIND the gun now before you can shoot, why would I have taken stuff out and called it a new version..?

    1. You can press the jump button to instantly display all of the current line of dialogue.

  3. Something you should be aware of from now on, is when you release a public non-pateron update, make sure to clear our the "Hello there pateron!" Type of dialog. It'll throw some people off. Just saying, also I think you should also make it so that players can explore/debug things after they've cleared a certain amount of requirements to test things that are still in deep beta or just haven't been fully tested/experimented with. Like the hidden slimes in that one room. Would of been nice to see what they can do after beating what the rest of the game has to offer. :)

    1. Unfortunately, there are a bunch of problems with both of those things. First off, by the time the patreon update comes out to the public, that version of the game is long-gone. It's about a week before the NEW Patreon update comes out, so I can't really go back and edit the dialogue at that point, because a ton of stuff has changed. I know it's a little bit awkward, but there's not a whole lot I can do about it, sorry!

As for exploring/debugging things, you can basically do that. That's why I tossed the debug 'cheats' in once you get to the end of the beta. There aren't a lot of "deep beta" things in the versions I upload, I typically focus on an element until it's done - or at least ready to show off. The slimes were a special case, and they weren't actually capable of doing anything BUT what you can see in that room. That's why I had them in that room, because there was nothing else for them to do. They just moved around on the walls, that's all - and they bugged out a lot in certain environments, too. Not exactly something I want to be showing off.

Anyway, I tend to test things very thoroughly, so unless a bug somehow completely escapes my view, everything I put into the updates is, in fact, everything there is to see. There are no rooms past the blocks in front of doors, you'd just fall off of the map and have to restart.

    1. I don't miss it. At all. I had no creative freedom whatsoever and it was purely a hobby. I can actually make a living off of this and I get to make whatever I want. I'm not going back to maple porn, ever. It's a chore to make.
