v.12 release!

Hey everybody! It's the 25th again, which means it's time for another public beta release!

UPDATE v.12 GOALS
-Add in Water functionality
-Finish 2nd boss fight
-Add new enemy (Warped Scientist)
-Update Map system to allow for bigger map
-Finish misc Breast Expansion animations
-Create more content (areas)
-Fix more minor issues

This update was a decent size, and I had to cut some very small things - namely, the BE Latcher animation and the 2nd boss fight animations. The boss is fully functional, and you can fight and defeat it, but it doesn't animate much yet. Hopefully you guys will still enjoy the fight, though - and next update, there will be tons of new H-animations! On that note, here's a list of things I want to accomplish for v.13!

UPDATE v.13 GOALS
-Polish second boss and finish his animations
-Officially add Double Jump powerup
-Add points for Alicia to heal at
-Start adding new enemy (with at least one H-scene)
-Finish Warped Scientist Breast Expansion animation
-Create more content (areas)
-Fix more minor issues

As you can probably tell, most of this next update is focused on animation and level creation. The Warped Scientist will get a new Breast Expansion scene, which will be unique like the Warped Soldier's scene rather than an edit, the 2nd Boss will be getting full animations including the H-scene, and I'll be implementing a new enemy - that some of you may remember - including their H-scene. It's a tall order, but I'm confident I can get it all done.

As I've mentioned before, v.13 will be the final public release of Crisis Point. After July, I will no longer be releasing playable updates of the game to the public. However, updates such as screenshots, videos, and livestreams will be available to everyone immediately, rather than coming out a month later. A few days after v.13 goes public, I'll release all of the v.14 info and updates in one post, and from then on any updates about development will be shared everywhere simultaneously. I'm hoping this will be a good solution that allows everyone to still be a part of this game, while still leaving plenty of new content for people to see in the final release of the game.

Anyway, I'd like to thank all of you for your support, feedback, and criticisms. Crisis Point has become a much better game than before because of all of it, and I appreciate every bit of it! Hope you guys enjoy v.12!

UPDATE v.12 MINOR FIXES
-Tentacles should no longer create rocks when in sex scene
-Fixed various problems from re-entering room when exiting pause or map screen
-Add Blue variation of slimes with higher stats
-Increased speed that Wire Shot pulls platforms at
-Can now hold movement buttons to quickly move the cursor on map screen
-Holding the Escape key for one second while customizing controls will now cancel key rebindings
-Alicia now reacts properly when hit by a cumshot while crouching or sliding
-Various issues with gamepad controls have been fixed (map controls, subweapon switching)
-Fatal error when retrying first boss fight has been fixed
-Problems with the Spread Shot door have been fixed
-Alicia no longer auto-struggles out of Latcher grabs
-Minimap no longer darkens with room darkness

  1. Ugh, would have liked a teleporter after the 2nd boss fight like in the previous demo, its a pain in the arss to kill...

    1. The only reason there was a teleporter to the point after the 2nd boss fight was because the 2nd boss fight wasn't actually there yet. I didn't want people skipping past the boss entirely now that it was actually playable, since it was a pretty big part of the update. However, v.13 will have some tweaks to the boss to make it less annoying to fight, and there will be a teleporter to take you straight to the Deep Soil as well if you really don't want to deal with it.

  2. I agree! The boss fight is I'm possible for me as everything is black I just get hit with something and get frozen. I have no idea what to do :(

    1. You got to dodge the tiny black balls that you might not see
      Bring the upper plateform down
      Jump on it
      Shoot the moving bigger black balls until they blow up while dodging them
      And I guess you end up killing the central one the same way

      But everytime you get hit (and it happens a lot) you must go down in the water to rince off the black goo and be able to shoot, so its pretty obnoxious... and I end up dying everytime before I kill the second ball anyway

Everything the Anonymous above me said is useful info - however, there's also an unfortunate glitch in v.12 that causes Alicia to get stuck in water if the boss hits you while you're already in water. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about that retroactively, but the glitch has been fixed for v.13, so you won't have to worry about it in the future! The walkthrough in v.13 has also been updated to include a strategy for the second boss fight, so if you have too much trouble with it you can always take a look at that.

  3. I just keep getting hit by the first boss even though there is nothing on the screen. It might be my problem not dodging it but the area you are getting hit from is too big and wide, I think. Even the worm thing doesn't touch my character, I still get damage. Even without that, it is so hard for me to kill this.

    1. They expel some tiny rocks when they get out of the ceilings, and they damage Alicia. Maybe you didn't notice them, I didn't the first time I fought the boss. But once you notice the rocks and find a pattern to hide while spraying it gets easy

  4. I get resolution problems.. the letters and the characters in the game are pretty blurry. How can I fix this?

    1. Hm, that's very strange. What's your screen resolution? Can I get a screenshot of the game with this problem? I can't see any reason why the game would be running in an incorrect resolution.

      This is the dialog. As you can see, the texts are so blurry. I had hard time figuring out that the gun's name is 'Blaster'.

      This is the picture Alicia getting raped by the slime.. but the blurry image gets my junior frustrated. I guess the image should be clear as the image uploaded on your patreon page, but not for me :(

      I use 1280*800. I hope to see your efforts more clearly soon.
