v.10 release!

Hey everybody! It's a little later than usual, my sleeping schedule is thrown off right now and I sorta forgot it was actually the 25th, but no worries - the new update has officially gone public!

UPDATE v.10 CHANGES
-Enable Pausing function
-Finish implementing Map system (missing powerup icons)
-Add new enemy (cumshooter)
-Finish Limping animation
-Begin working on new boss
-Improve Latcher animation
-Create more content (areas)
-Fix more minor issues

Aside from pushing the new area back, nothing else in this update had to be scrapped. There's some polish here and there I'd have liked to add, but I can always touch things up later. Now then, on to v.11!

UPDATE v.11 GOALS
-Implement Gamepad controls
-Add in 'teleporters' to skip past old content
-Work more on second boss
-New enemy
-Introduce new area
-Create more content (areas)
-Fix more minor issues

The list of goals isn't too huge, but some of them are big. The new enemy being added is.. shall we say, special. It will require more effort than any of the normal enemies added so far, so I might have to space it out over the next few updates, but you guys are gonna fuckin' love it, I promise you that. I'll share some more info about him later in the month. Aside from that, v.11 will be focused on creating new rooms and working on that boss fight. I hoped to have it completely finished by the time v.11 comes out, but I'm not sure if that will happen, as there are only a few days left in the month. Now, before I finish up, I also want to let you guys know what the future of public updates is going to hold. I'm sure many of you have realized that, considering Crisis Point is going to be a paid product, there will eventually be a cutoff point where demos stop going public - it would be silly to give away an 80% complete product for free and expect people to purchase the full version, after all.

Crisis Point will soon reach its 2nd boss fight, which marks around 30% of the game content being complete. Unfortunately, this is where I'm choosing to stop releasing betas for free - not including a fully polished, official demo release at some point down the line. However, I absolutely do not want to leave people out of the loop. After the 2nd boss fight is finished and fully implemented (I'm currently anticipating this to happen in v.12,) betas for Crisis Point will stop going public, BUT information about game progress (including screenshots and livestreams) will immediately go public the moment they are released, instead of after a one-month gap. Once this happens, I'll be retooling the $1 tier on Patreon to give rewards other than early game news, and (as mentioned above) posting any future text/screenshot updates or livestream announcements to the public.

If anyone has ideas for what they'd like to see as a $1 Patreon reward, or any other kind of feedback, feel free to let me know. I want to make this project as inclusive as possible while still being able to make a living off of it.

Anyway, that's all there is for this update. Thank you all so much for the support and feedback during this project. For someone like me, it makes all the difference, and keeps me motivated to make this the best game it can possibly be!

Minor Issues for v.10
-Boss can no longer be shot/do damage while dying
-Modify Warped Soldier shot timing
-Unbreakable horizontal barrier in caves changed to black blocks
-Added background for Summit area
-Another attempted fix at rare H-scene crash
-Single fly can no longer loop Alicia in rape scene against wall
-Slowed fly attack down slightly; increased fly startup speed
-Kicking slimes on slopes now works better
-Depth issue on fly nest fixed

  1. Thanks, for the demo update always appreciate every release. As for the stopping demo releases I would say at maybe 40% stop releasing it to the public.

  2. I can't find any "cumshooter" but I can't find any unexplored area either, I guess I'm a bit lost but it's a bit too painful to search the area more than I did without knowing where to search for... could anyone show a screen of that ennemy or a location on the map?

  3. Found a glitch and reproduced it once. I got hit by a latcher, then freed myself just as a vine surfaced below me -> I got knocked down. After I stood up again, I was facing one side, no matter where I went, was fully clothed again, invulnerable, and unable to shoot. Also, it zoomed in.

    On a side note: Pressing delete doesn't kill flies.

    1. Thanks for the bug reports! Somebody else mentioned the Latcher glitch too, so it should be fixed for v.11. As for delete, it tends to be a bit iffy whether or not that actually works in general, in my experience, but I'll take a look and see if the fly in particular has something wrong.

  4. First of all, I LOVE the notes you can make on the map screen. That is truly helpful. Secondly, though, I found a glitch concerning the notes. I tend to mark out everything I pass and cannot reach. When I wrote a note that I needed Force Shot, next to a breakable wall (in the first area), the wall dissapeared as soon as I finished the note and closed the map screen. I thought it was my imagination, until I tried the same thing with all the other walls, and they all dissappeared too. Just thought I'd let you know.

    btw, I just LOVE this game. Although it isn't finished, it's already my MOST favourite H-game. Keep up the good work! :)

      And thank you for the bug report, too! I have to say, that's one of the most amusing glitches I've seen yet. I'm pretty sure I know exactly what went wrong, so it shouldn't take long to fix. Enjoy your sequence-breaking glitch while it lasts :P

  5. I have a question about some enemies. Can you make it so that enemies have at least 2 different grab animations? F.ex. the Warped Soldier, I'd love it if they did Alicia from behind as well as their current animation. And/or perhaps a multi-grab of 2 to maybe 3 soldiers at once? I realise it is a tall request but it would be incredible if it could be done.

    1. Hey, thanks for the praise! Unfortunately, there's almost no chance of enemies getting more than one grab animation. There are a planned total of 15 enemies (not including bosses) that each get a unique H-scene, but there are also other factors that will lead to there being a lot of sex animations - the final game will easily have over 30 animations, and adding an extra scene per enemy could easily push that to 50-60+, which would obviously be a lot of time spent animating.

      Despite that, the public's desire for doggystyle has not fallen on deaf ears. It won't be with the Warped Soldier, but there WILL be doggystyle!

  6. I don't know if this has been mentioned but I have a good fly orgy idea to give you. Keep the standing pose for the one fly h-scene, have him switch to anal, next fly in the front latched to her stomach and/or part of the boobs getting pussy, and the last one on her face (like the slime) getting a blowjob. As for breakout damage, make it relatively easy so new players don't get pissed complaining that that fly nests are OP. Having fly babies that can rape her too would be a nice bonus.

  8. Am I the only one who thinks the expanded breasts look a bit inconsistent across different animations? She looks much bigger in the soldier's one imo.

    Not that I'm complaining, bigger is better!

    My only suggestion would be that we could play around with her a bit more with the larger state, rather than just limping around. :)
