HAPPY NEW YEARS! (v.19 release!)

I DID IT! 7 STRAIGHT HOURS OF ANIMATING AND okay let me turn caps off - the update is done, 7 hours of animation later! 3 new H-scenes (the final scene of the Warped Female Soldier, the solo sex scene for the Warped Sentry, and the duo sex scene for the Warped Sentry) and the new enemy are the highlights this time around - the time crunch from being late on the last update means it's a little light on other stuff, but FUCK IT THERE'S SO MUCH ANIMATION PACKED IN HERE I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT ANYWAY.


UPDATE v.19 GOALS
-Begin and finish the Warped Scout
-Really finish Boss3's H-scene
-Create more content (areas) [6]
-Fix more minor issues


I never did find time to get new sound effects, and I didn't make a new logo (there's a real good reason for that one though that I'll be able to reveal soon), but I managed to get everything else done. The list looks small, but there was a lot in there - especially the new enemy, which is already fully implemented with two sex scenes (and climax animations). The stream chat seemed to think they're the best scenes in the entire game so far as well, so hey. Maybe they'll tickle yer fancy. ON TO THE NEXT UPDATE.


UPDATE v.20 GOALS
-Finish BE H-animations for Warped Sentry
-Implement subweapon functions against the Warped Sentry
-Finish the Hellhound enemy
-Implement actual debug menu instead of keyboard shortcuts

This is an interesting one. I am yet again going to try and finish an entire enemy (luckily this one is a bit more simple), and the Sentry is getting some nice gameplay tweaks - namely, the subweapons (Force Shot and Wire Shot) will have unique effects against her. This is something I'd like to do for several enemies in the game eventually, as well. All in all there should be at least 3 new H-animations again next month!  Thanks so much to everyone rooting for me. -Major bug with stacking map/pause menus (leading to a black screen) fixed
-Room transition bug in cursed room fixed
-Catacombs can no longer be accessed without the double jump
-Pause menu map size increased to accommodate Catacombs
-Insects can no longer bypass iframes to activate H-scenes early
-Fixed bug that would cause Alicia to freeze if you opened the map and pause menus at the same time
-Alicia can no longer be damaged by struggling when the struggle bar isn't there

No stream today

Hey everyone, quick update about streams. I was going to stream every day after Christmas until New Years, but some stuff came up, and I have to skip today's stream. I should still be able to do the 30th and 31st, though! Sorry to disappoint anyone who was looking forward to today's stream, but I have some life stuff I have to take care of before New Years (nothing bad though, so no worries).

In addition to that, I just wanted to let everyone know that there won't be 5 new H-scenes this month, like I mentioned I might be able to do earlier. There just wasn't enough time for it on top of the other things that needed to be done; however, there WILL be 3 new scenes, so it's still one of the largest amounts of new H-content there's ever been for an update! I have high hopes next month will be similarly large, as well.

Warped Sentry reveal

Time for the real post I mentioned! The last few days of streaming have been dedicated to this lady:



This is the Warped Sentry. Much like the Soldier and Scientists, she was a member of the military that was sent to this planet to assist in finding a cure for the virus. Until the planet had its way with her. Now she's just as lust-filled as the rest of the inhabitants. It also had the added effect of giving her a bit of a mutation. She's packing something under those pants, and she's not afraid to use it..

Despite the mental overwrite, she still knows how to use her weapons, though; she'll create a blockade in tight corridors with her riot shield to prevent Alicia from passing by until she's defeated. If you try to get too close to her, she'll hit you hard with a shield bash, knocking Alicia over in just one hit. If you leave her alone long enough, though, she'll pull her shield back and try to hit you with her SMG - it's not a very powerful weapon, though, and it presents the best opportunity to attack her early on. Later powerups could prove to make the shield a bit easier to bypass, as well.

The Warped Sentry will be available as of v.19, the update that's being worked on right now. With any luck, she'll have all of her H-scenes available right from the start - I'm certainly aiming for it! If all goes according to plan, this update will have a whopping 5 new H-animations compared to v.18, which is by far the biggest increase in the history of CPE's development.

Well, that's all from me for now. I'll share one of her H-scenes before the update comes out, as well as a look at the game's new menus - and I should have some other good news to share soon as well!

Another stream today + Stream schedule changes!

Hey everyone! Quick update for you all - yesterday was supposed to be the last day of our marathon stream, but we decided to extend it one more day! Me and Orexius are going to be streaming in about 30 minutes, at 1pm EST, up until about 5pm EST. Here's the link if you don't have it: https://picarto.tv/Anon42

I've also discovered over the past few days that doing slightly shorter streams (~4 hours instead of 6+) more frequently is much more productive for myself - so Crisis Point will be going through some stream scheduling changes very soon! I'm planning on trying to stream at least 4 times a week from now on, for about 4 hours at a time. The main reason behind this change is that my computer chair is insanely uncomfortable, and spending more time than that sitting there ends up killing my legs by the end of the day. Splitting up the time a bit more makes me feel more productive, and much more excited to work - which means the work comes out better and everybody benefits in general.

Anyway, that's enough about that! I'm gonna get ready for the stream, and afterwards, I'll make a real update post for you all to show what we've been working on over the past few days! Hope to see you at the stream!

v.17 and .18 updates!

Hey guys. First off, I'd like to apologize for not updating here in ages - things have been really crazy around my place lately, between work and life in general. That's not a great excuse, but it is what it is. I had no intentions of abandoning my followers here, life just got really busy. Instead of going on about not posting here, however, let's fix that - starting with a list of all the things that have gotten done recently.

UPDATE .17 AND .18 CHANGES
-3rd boss fight finished
-Caves areas have all been reworked with new parallax background
-New collectible added! Split health upgrades - collect 3 to form a full health upgrade. 6 total so far.
-New area introduced (The Catacombs)
-Work started on two new Patron-paid enemies (Hellhound, and another secret one)
-4th boss fight has been planned out, work to begin soon
-Main menu finally added to the game, including a real menu for control customization
-A bunch of new rooms to explore
-Many bugs and minor issues resolved

Those are most of the major things that have been done over the past two updates. I'll list the other, more minor changes at the bottom of this post - but for now, let's get to what I'm doing for the next update.

UPDATE v.19 GOALS
-Finish one of the Patron-paid enemies

-Create a better logo for main menu
-Implement customizable gamepad controls into the options menu
-Add more sound effects to the game

This is a list of the things I hope to have done for New Years. I'd like to start speeding up development in the near future if I can, but that'll largely depend on life stuff. I should be moving to a new state and a new home soon, so things should improve dramatically after that once things have stabilized a bit. I should also have an easier time keeping up with updating you guys!

MINOR FIXES IN v.17 AND v.18
-Incorrect numbering on the map screen has been fixed
-Second boss fight now finally has music
-Fixed improper Struggle damage scaling
-Alicia no longer sometimes takes damage while orgasming during masturbation
-Button added to reset keyboard and gamepad controls to default (no more being unable to control the game!)
-Alicia is no longer invincible during manual masturbation
-Manual masturbation can now be canceled by releasing the masturbation key
-Many resilient masturbation bugs have now been fixed
-DRASTICALLY reduced the speed the Libido gauge empties at; climaxing from masturbation will now empty it immediately
-Longstanding collision issue with underside of Deep Soil ramps fixed
-Altered checkpoint system to be tied to Save Points

Streaming + v.16 update!

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't posted here about v.16's release yet, but I'm about to fix that! I'm also in the process of preparing for another livestream, so I'm going to keep this short.

Stream tomorrow, and cave parallax!

Hey everybody! It's a bit late in the day, so hopefully some of you will see this before tomorrow, but as promised I come with a gif of what I worked on the other day, as well as the date for the next stream. First off, the stream - me and Orexius will once again be hosting a stream tomorrow at 2pm EDT, just like last time. This time may become a new norm, given the recent changes in both of our schedules, but hopefully I'll be able to stay online longer this time.

This one is showing off the new parallax scrolling that will be visible in the caves, which is the first area in the game. I've been wanting to revisit them and give them some more visual flair for a while now, so hopefully this will spice up the area a bit! Considering the amount of time it'll take to cover every single cave room that's in the game so far, they probably won't all be done in time for v.16 - but I'll get as many as I can in.

ORIGINAL POST: Bleugh. Okay, hi guys. Sorry for the absolute dead silence over the past few weeks. The end of last month was crazy stressful, and then I ended up getting sick the past week and barely had the energy to get out of bed. I'm mostly better now though, and way behind on work - so I'm gonna be hosting a lot of streams in the near future to try and get a lot of shit done as fast as I can. I'm actually going to be starting one in about an hour, at 2pm EDT - Orexius will be there as well, on and off. I'll edit this post with the stream link once it begins.

In the meantime though, I figure I should probably post what I got done for v.15, and what I plan to do for v.16, so here we go!

-Work on more detail animations for Alicia

New animation + Stream announcement

Hey guys! Sorry it took me so long to post this, I've been meaning to do it since the last stream ended but there's been a lot of stuff keeping me busy over the past few days.

This is the animation I worked on during my stream on the weekend. I did a few touchups post-stream, but it was mostly done by the time it ended. Since it was the first public stream, a lot more people showed up than usual - I don't want to say anything definitive yet, but if things work out, I think there may be some good news in the near future because of it!

In any case, me and Orexius are planning on hosting another stream this Thursday, beginning at 6pm EDT, as per usual. I'm still behind on this month's update, so I'll probably try to fit in at least one more stream in addition to this by the end of the month, since I tend to be much more productive on stream. Thanks for your patience guys, and I'll make another post around the time the next stream begins!

v.14 info dump & Livestream announcement!

Hey everybody! Got a few new pieces of information for you today - all the information from last month's Patron-exclusive update, and one bit so far from this month.

Before anything else, I'd like to announce that I'm hosting a development livestream this Thursday from 6pm EDT until.. whenever it ends! For those of you who are interested in watching, you can click here for the link, and if you follow the channel it should notify you by email when the stream begins - or you can just show up around the time I mentioned, if you don't feel like signing up for an account.

Now, on to the visual stuff! (Sorry, you'll have to click the links this time - the blogger editor is a horrendous pile of garbage that intentionally makes this as difficult as possible.)

I honestly didn't post too much about v.14 last month, but I'll just dump everything from the Patreon that month here right now, and then I can get on track with keeping public and patreon updates happening at the same time.

That's all of the visual stuff from last month. Now, here's the info on what v.15 will contain for those donating enough to get it:

UPDATE v.15 GOALS

The list is a tad bit smaller than usual but with the amount of animation work required for the 3rd boss and the detail animations for Alicia, I'll definitely be kept busy. I still have over half a dozen detail animations for Alicia, though it's unlikely that they will all be done for this update.

That's not all I have today, though. I've been able to get some stuff done for this update in the past few days, and I wanted to show you who you'll be fighting soon! (Hopefully in this update, if I can finish the boss, but no promises there)

Her sprite still has a little bit of touching up to do, but you get the gist of it. The army that employs Alicia is the same one that the Warped Soldiers are from, so it only makes sense that they have other female soldiers in their roster - and it just so happens that the planet has been messing with her psyche a bit, too. This is the first biologically female enemy you'll be facing, meaning no hidden dick or tentacles to be found! Hope you're looking forward to it, and I'll have more updates to come in the near future!

v.13 release!

Hey there, everyone! I'm about to leave town on a trip for a few days, and I leave in just a few hours. While I would normally release updates on the 25th, this is a special occasion and I won't have access to my files soon, sooo.. It's finally time to release the final public beta!

UPDATE v.13 GOALS

It may not look like much more than usual, but there was a ton of work put into this update. THREE new H-animations (not just reworks either - these are all completely new animations), roughly a dozen new rooms to go through, a new enemy, real double jumping, and healing stations make up what is probably the biggest content update Crisis Point has had yet, especially in terms of H-content! I've said that quite a few times, but perhaps I just keep one-upping myself. As for v.14..

UPDATE v.14 GOALS
-Begin work on 3rd boss fight
-Update BE animations for certain enemies to make breast expansion more noticeable (aka bigger breasts)
-Animate Alraune BE H-scene
-Update Alraune attacks to include libido-enhancing spores
-Start working on detail animations for Alicia
-Create more content (areas)
-Fix more minor issues

Remember, from here on out, playable Crisis Point updates will not be going public anymore. The game is around 35% content complete right now, and I feel like that's a safe point to stop until an official, polished demo when the game is nearing release. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean I'm going to leave you guys out of the loop - far from it! I intend to bring more updates to you now than before, including links to livestreams and screenshots as they happen, rather than a month later. I understand many of you are wary of Patreon, so rest assured I intend on keeping you as involved in this project as I can whether or not you're pledging.

Thank you so much to all of you for your support. This opportunity has been nothing short of incredible for me, and I have all of you to thank for it - I never thought I'd be able to start doing what I love this early in life, and for that I am eternally grateful, whether you're donating to me or not. UPDATE v.13 MINOR ISSUES
-Alicia now has proper animations for injury while limping
-Holding crouch will now shift the camera downward to view what is below you
-Locations where new enemies will be encountered are now indicated in the walkthrough
-Fixed Alicia being able to aim while limping but in the air
-Force Shot now causes damage against the 2nd boss
-Dying against the 2nd boss while gooped will no longer prevent the game over animation from happening
-Invulnerability period after getting hit by 2nd boss has been extended
-Parts of the 2nd boss that have been broken will no longer hurt you on contact

v.12 release!

Hey everybody! It's the 25th again, which means it's time for another public beta release!

UPDATE v.12 GOALS
-Add in Water functionality

-Update Map system to allow for bigger map
-Finish misc Breast Expansion animations

This update was a decent size, and I had to cut some very small things - namely, the BE Latcher animation and the 2nd boss fight animations. The boss is fully functional, and you can fight and defeat it, but it doesn't animate much yet. Hopefully you guys will still enjoy the fight, though - and next update, there will be tons of new H-animations! On that note, here's a list of things I want to accomplish for v.13!

UPDATE v.13 GOALS

As you can probably tell, most of this next update is focused on animation and level creation. The Warped Scientist will get a new Breast Expansion scene, which will be unique like the Warped Soldier's scene rather than an edit, the 2nd Boss will be getting full animations including the H-scene, and I'll be implementing a new enemy - that some of you may remember - including their H-scene. It's a tall order, but I'm confident I can get it all done.

As I've mentioned before, v.13 will be the final public release of Crisis Point. After July, I will no longer be releasing playable updates of the game to the public. However, updates such as screenshots, videos, and livestreams will be available to everyone immediately, rather than coming out a month later. A few days after v.13 goes public, I'll release all of the v.14 info and updates in one post, and from then on any updates about development will be shared everywhere simultaneously. I'm hoping this will be a good solution that allows everyone to still be a part of this game, while still leaving plenty of new content for people to see in the final release of the game.

Anyway, I'd like to thank all of you for your support, feedback, and criticisms. Crisis Point has become a much better game than before because of all of it, and I appreciate every bit of it! Hope you guys enjoy v.12!

-Fixed various problems from re-entering room when exiting pause or map screen

v.11 release!

Hey there everybody! As always, since it's the 25th, it's time for the v.11 public release!

For those of you who wanted a walkthrough, make sure you check the download - there's a .txt file in there explaining the quickest path through the whole game so far!

UPDATE v.11 CHANGES
-Implement Gamepad controls
-Add in 'teleporters' to skip past old content (go left from starting point!)
-New enemy (breast expanders) - with Warped Soldier, Tentacle, and Insect animation variants
-Introduce new area
-Create more content (areas)
-Fix more minor issues

As always, minor issues will be listed at the bottom of this post. v.11 was primarily focused on animation work. There was a lot of animation to do for the new enemy, and I'm still missing their modified Slime scene, but hopefully you'll agree they were worth the effort! For right now, the Breast Expansion state will end after a sex scene or a specific amount of time, but in the future there will be a specific animation for when it ends that involves Alicia lactating out the liquid that's making her breasts bigger. (For those who don't like lactation, don't worry - there will be an option to turn it off! Her breasts will just shrink with that option off.)

Now then, on to v.12!

v.12 will be primarily focused on the 2nd boss fight and creating new rooms in the new area. Unfortunately there aren't too many new rooms in v.11 - largely because Water is a very important element of it, and it's not in the game yet - so I'll be focused on making sure there's a lot of stuff to explore. For those of you who are wondering, because the Breast Expanders now exist in the game, I'll do my best to make sure every new enemy has both their normal AND BE animations done when they are released. I can't guarantee this will happen (especially in the event of enemies that have unique BE scenes, rather than just an edit of their normal scene), but I'll do my best to make sure it happens. I don't think it will happen with the new enemy in this update, though. This is going to be a busy month.

v.10 release!

Hey everybody! It's a little later than usual, my sleeping schedule is thrown off right now and I sorta forgot it was actually the 25th, but no worries - the new update has officially gone public!

Aside from pushing the new area back, nothing else in this update had to be scrapped. There's some polish here and there I'd have liked to add, but I can always touch things up later. Now then, on to v.11!

-Work more on second boss

The list of goals isn't too huge, but some of them are big. The new enemy being added is.. shall we say, special. It will require more effort than any of the normal enemies added so far, so I might have to space it out over the next few updates, but you guys are gonna fuckin' love it, I promise you that. I'll share some more info about him later in the month. Aside from that, v.11 will be focused on creating new rooms and working on that boss fight. I hoped to have it completely finished by the time v.11 comes out, but I'm not sure if that will happen, as there are only a few days left in the month. Now, before I finish up, I also want to let you guys know what the future of public updates is going to hold. I'm sure many of you have realized that, considering Crisis Point is going to be a paid product, there will eventually be a cutoff point where demos stop going public - it would be silly to give away an 80% complete product for free and expect people to purchase the full version, after all.

Crisis Point will soon reach its 2nd boss fight, which marks around 30% of the game content being complete. Unfortunately, this is where I'm choosing to stop releasing betas for free - not including a fully polished, official demo release at some point down the line. However, I absolutely do not want to leave people out of the loop. After the 2nd boss fight is finished and fully implemented (I'm currently anticipating this to happen in v.12,) betas for Crisis Point will stop going public, BUT information about game progress (including screenshots and livestreams) will immediately go public the moment they are released, instead of after a one-month gap. Once this happens, I'll be retooling the $1 tier on Patreon to give rewards other than early game news, and (as mentioned above) posting any future text/screenshot updates or livestream announcements to the public.

If anyone has ideas for what they'd like to see as a $1 Patreon reward, or any other kind of feedback, feel free to let me know. I want to make this project as inclusive as possible while still being able to make a living off of it.

v.09 release!

Hey there, everybody! It's (almost) the 25th, so you know what that means - update time!

This update is one of the best ones Crisis Point has had so far, in my opinion. It took a lot of cramming to get it all done, but as it turns out I work well under pressure and I'm very happy with how everything turned out!

UPDATE v.09 CHANGES
-Begin implementing Map system
-Implement checkpoint system (NOT save system)
-Implement more uses of the Wire Shot
-Add new movement stance (limping) to be used for various status effects -- partially complete
-Add flies cumming animation
-Add new enemy (Latchers)
-Custom controls will now be saved in 'keys.ini', and should function with future versions of the game

-Door straight ahead in first slime room has been changed into force shot wall to provide better flow
-Enemy reaction to Wire Shot platforms moving was wonky
-Flies buffed (more knockdown, faster attack speed)

-Some rooms weren't persistent, had respawning ammo upgrades
-Pants in jumping animation were inconsistent with standing
-Made Alicia move backwards when kicking enemy near the wall, rather than forwards

v.08 release!

Hey guys! It's time for the v.08 release today, but first I have some news to share.

Blogger recently sent out a mass message informing anyone with a blog marked NSFW that their content policies regarding sexually explicit material is changing. On March 23rd, any content that exists solely to be sexually exciting will no longer be allowed. Now, the email was phrased vaguely (as is the norm), so it's possible that it won't really have much of an impact on my blog, but it is very possible that I'll need to migrate to a new service. I'm considering Tumblr at the moment, but I haven't fully decided yet.

I'll have more info on this soon, but I wanted to let you know what was up ahead of time. Now enough of that, and on to the release!

v.09 is a pretty ambitious update, and it's due to come out in a few days for Patrons. These last few days are going to be a bit of a time crunch for me, but I think I can manage to get everything done! For those of you interested in joining the Patreon campaign, remember that only people pledging before the 1st of the month will get access to the update before it goes Public.

In any case, I'm pretty proud of how v.08 turned out, especially with all the stress of the month, between taxes and applying for health insurance and all sorts of stuff. I hope you guys enjoy it

-Slimes jump animation when kicked is sometimes incorrectly timed
-Items do not disappear after changing zones
-Arrows do not damage enemies
-Tentacle activation radius should be slightly bigger
-Arrow traps need 'cooldown' timer after being triggered
-Some areas too dark in windowed mode, adjust lighting levels
-Player can stand up while crouching underneath something by using Aim button
-HP collectible spawn chance doesn't scale properly
-Boss particles hard to see in windowed
-Moans for slime duo rape are incorrect
-Accidentally struggling at start of rape is too easy; input delay window at start of animation

I am (mostly) proud to announce that (mostly) every feature (mostly) made it into v.075! I pushed back the Wire Shot upgrade, due to its reliance on environmental interaction, but everything else is fully intact! Yaaaay

Here's the list of things I hope to accomplish for v.08. Overall, though, my main focus for v.08 is making new areas for Alicia to explore, as there quite simply can never be enough of that in an exploration-based game.

Small update

Hey there, everyone! Just wanted to post a small update of one of the new animations before the v.07 update goes public.



I would explain what it is, but.. it probably speaks for itself. Instead, I want to give a small shout-out to another developer who could use the help.

You might notice a new link on the right side - to a blog by cheshireCat, the guy who developed Pendulum and is currently working on a bunch of new projects that have some real potential. Long story short, the last year wasn't kind to him and he's currently homeless. I've never spoken to the guy personally, but I've seen him around, and as far as I can tell he's a pretty genuine person, deserves better in life. If you have a few bucks laying around that you don't know what to do with, consider throwing 'em at him - or just help spread the word, any little bit helps.
