This is pretty much how every Game Over scene in the game will play out, sort of a faux-Visual Novel style with still CGs and simple effects. In the most recent release (v.23), there are 3 of them; Tentacles, Slimes, and Warped Soldiers.<br />

Second, I have some unfortunate information to share.<br />
<br />
One of my long-time patrons came to me recently and asked why he hadn't received the latest update after it came out, since I promised to give the update to everyone who had pledged enough during the few months with no updates. I had already sent out the update to everyone, so I was just as confused as he was. After looking into things, it turns out that Patreon recently changed their systems, and added the most amazingly idiotic 'feature' I've ever seen - when a patron cancels their pledge, every piece of information relating to them is PERMANENTLY REMOVED from my Patron Manager. This means that I have no fucking records of everyone who has pledged to me over the past two years, except for those people who are pledged right now. I've already gotten in contact with Patreon support about this but I'm still waiting on a reply to see if they have any way to help. I'm writing down every bit of information I can find about people who are pledged, but there are undoubtedly scores of people I'm missing.<br />

If you've pledged to me at ANY point in time, PLEASE find a way to take a screenshot proving that you've donated at least $10 total throughout development, and either email or PM it to me, along with the email you want your eventual copy of the game sent to. I desperately want to fulfill my promise of free copies of the game to any of you who have supported me that much, and I'll be writing down pledges as often as I can going forward so this can't screw my plans over again, but as of now, I have no way to get a list of everyone who has pledged in the past anymore.<br />

There are a few minor bugs in it, but nothing too gamebreaking has been discovered yet. </span></span><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">As for everyone who hasn't been a patron recently; now that I finally finished this update, I'll be posting a recording of the Tentacle GO scene soon - I wanted to focus on getting this update out first, but I wanted to post that afterwards so you all know what to expect from the GO scenes. Every enemy will have one, and they're all fully voice acted (not including the hellhound scene, which will unfortunately not have voice acting per Diana's request), with CGs by LustFire. For those of you worried that a Game Over scene will give the player incentive to die against every new enemy they encounter, don't worry - in a future update, you'll also be able to access the scenes by killing that enemy type ONCE, and then it'll pop up in a gallery accessible from the pause menu. No need to even go back to the main menu; once implemented, you'll be able to kill the enemy, watch the scene from the menu, and then continue on right where you left off no worse for the wear.</span></div>

So far she's done a wonderful job on all the work I've given her, and I can't wait to see what else she'll bring to the table.<br />

Crisis Point: Extinction is officially getting CGs! I've teamed up with a talented artist named LustFire, who some of you may know from ULMF, where he's worked on a few smaller games in the past. He will officially be providing CGs for the game, and we're working hard on catching up and getting CGs available for every enemy thus far. In the coming update, this CG will be available - along with 5 other variations of it.<br />
<br />
In Crisis Point, when you Game Over against an enemy, you'll be given the option to view a GO sequence. These sequences will be fully voice-acted, and contain a non-animated CG'd sex scene showing what happens to Alicia after her loss. (Don't worry, no death involved!)<br />

In the future I may release some more voice clips, or a video showcasing one of these sequences; for now though, welcome LustFire to the team, and enjoy the first ever official Crisis Point CG!<br />

Instead, I learned a few days ago that my father has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Hey everybody! First off, I'm sorry this update was delayed so long. January was a crazy month for me, and February seems like it's going to be more or less the same. Hopefully it won't interfere with work as much this month, though. Here's what I managed to get done: <br /><br />

Unfortunately, as you can probably see, I had to move several things from this update into next month so I could finish it - and it still ended up 5 days late. Still, there's a new (highly requested) enemy with an H-loop, and the Warped Sentry is combat complete now! She's definitely the most intricate enemy the game has had yet, with a bunch of different ways to deal with her in combat, which is largely why she took so long to create. The Hellhound was very simple in comparison, but I only had enough time to get his H-loop done; he'll get a climax scene in the next update. Speaking of which..<br /><br />

I am yet again going to try and finish an entire enemy (luckily this one is a bit more simple), and the Sentry is getting some nice gameplay tweaks - namely, the subweapons (Force Shot and Wire Shot) will have unique effects against her. This is something I'd like to do for several enemies in the game eventually, as well. All in all there should be at least 3 new H-animations again next month! This is the Warped Sentry. Much like the Soldier and Scientists, she was a member of the military that was sent to this planet to assist in finding a cure for the virus. Until the planet had its way with her. Now she's just as lust-filled as the rest of the inhabitants. It also had the added effect of giving her a bit of a mutation. She's packing something under those pants, and she's not afraid to use it..<br />
<br />
Despite the mental overwrite, she still knows how to use her weapons, though; she'll create a blockade in tight corridors with her riot shield to prevent Alicia from passing by until she's defeated. If you try to get too close to her, she'll hit you hard with a shield bash, knocking Alicia over in just one hit. If you leave her alone long enough, though, she'll pull her shield back and try to hit you with her SMG - it's not a very powerful weapon, though, and it presents the best opportunity to attack her early on. Later powerups could prove to make the shield a bit easier to bypass, as well.<br />
<br />
The Warped Sentry will be available as of v.19, the update that's being worked on right now. With any luck, she'll have all of her H-scenes available right from the start - I'm certainly aiming for it! If all goes according to plan, this update will have a whopping 5 new H-animations compared to v.18, which is by far the biggest increase in the history of CPE's development.<br />

I've also discovered over the past few days that doing slightly shorter streams (~4 hours instead of 6+) more frequently is much more productive for myself - so Crisis Point will be going through some stream scheduling changes very soon! I'm planning on trying to stream at least 4 times a week from now on, for about 4 hours at a time. The main reason behind this change is that my computer chair is insanely uncomfortable, and spending more time than that sitting there ends up killing my legs by the end of the day. Splitting up the time a bit more makes me feel more productive, and much more excited to work - which means the work comes out better and everybody benefits in general.<br />

The end of last month was crazy stressful, and then I ended up getting sick the past week and barely had the energy to get out of bed. I've said that quite a few times, but perhaps I just keep one-upping myself. As for v.14..<br />

The game is around 35% content complete right now, and I feel like that's a safe point to stop until an official, polished demo when the game is nearing release. This update was a decent size, and I had to cut some very small things - namely, the BE Latcher animation and the 2nd boss fight animations. The boss is fully functional, and you can fight and defeat it, but it doesn't animate much yet. Hopefully you guys will still enjoy the fight, though - and next update, there will be tons of new H-animations! On that note, here's a list of things I want to accomplish for v.13!<br />

As you can probably tell, most of this next update is focused on animation and level creation. The Warped Scientist will get a new Breast Expansion scene, which will be unique like the Warped Soldier's scene rather than an edit, the 2nd Boss will be getting full animations including the H-scene, and I'll be implementing a new enemy - that some of you may remember - including their H-scene. It's a tall order, but I'm confident I can get it all done.<br />

As I've mentioned before, v.13 will be the final public release of Crisis Point. After July, I will no longer be releasing playable updates of the game to the public. However, updates such as screenshots, videos, and livestreams will be available to everyone immediately, rather than coming out a month later. A few days after v.13 goes public, I'll release all of the v.14 info and updates in one post, and from then on any updates about development will be shared everywhere simultaneously. I'm hoping this will be a good solution that allows everyone to still be a part of this game, while still leaving plenty of new content for people to see in the final release of the game.<br />
